INSPIRING CREATIVITY

Description:
Lack of inspiration and creativity is frequently found in individuals suffering from anxiety.

This presentation will focus on exploring the role and significance of inspiration and creativity in mental health. It will demonstrate how to balance your primary habit patterns creating anxiety with creative expressive outlets.

It will further present ways to encourage and guide you towards inspirational sources incorporating them in your daily routine.

GRASPING THE UNDERPINNINGS OF LONELINESS

Description:
Loneliness is the main underlined cause for obsessions and multiple regretful actions we take. All efforts to eliminate loneliness fall short and yet, these efforts never cease. This presentation, which is based on the book, Responding to Loneliness and Longing, attempts to explain the origin of loneliness from a psycho-spiritual angle and thus offering alternative ways to perceive and handle this universal state of profound un-comfortability.

UNDERSTANDING WHY WE OVEREAT

Description:
The presentation, which is based on Ms. Koumidou’s book The Inner Eater Selves, focuses on identifying the various parts of an individual who do the eating; it teaches how to develop control over these various personality parts and how to master the necessary skills needed to deal with the “new person” as natural weight is reached and maintained. Natural weight is where one is comfortable without inner conflict about their body image.

OVERCOMING SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS

Description:
It seems that in the core of most conflicts we find that self-righteousness is present, fueling and prolonging whatever the conflict is about, whether between two people or two nations. We will explore the anatomy of self-righteousness and identify the positive and negative aspects it carries. We will demonstrate how it develops and what are the factors which strengthen it. The focus will then turn on how to handle and/or overcome self-righteousness whether in the defensive or offensive side of this stance.

PARENTING ADULT CHILDREN

Description:
Parenting adult children requires an entirely new set of skills to avoid conflict and/or distance between parents and their adult children. The course will focus on the necessary adjustments needed to transition from parenting teens to parenting adults. We will compare and explore the consequences of parenting according to one’s personality vs utilizing the system of Parenting with Love and Logic in the early parenting years.
